How much bedding is needed?

For the initial bedding of your horse stable, we recommend approximately 10 kg (100 l) of miscanthus bedding per square meter. This results in a comfortable, 10 cm thick mat. For top-up bedding, you should expect 20-25 kg per week, depending on how long your horse stays in the stable and whether you use a free-range stable.
